The tear ducts run from the inner edges of the eyes towards the cheek. Since the skin around the eyes is very thin, the blood vessels visible through the skin often make the skin under the eyes dark. Eyes with dimples age the look considerably. With the filler treatment of the tear ducts, bumpiness fades and thus the shadows under the eyes are smoothed out.
